Pricing and minimums
Starting prices, picked up at our plant in Houston, priced by the pound so weight and width don’t confuse the number.
These are small-order starting prices, not an average. We built them as a ceiling on purpose, so the number you see here is close to the most anyone pays, not a typical price. Many of our established accounts already do better than this. Volume, order frequency and delivery terms all move the price down — the bigger the order, the more room there is below these numbers. This is not a quote: tell us your exact blend, weight and volume and we’ll give you a real number.
Mattress fire barrier fabric (needle-punched, rayon/polyester blend)

Heavier weights, richer rayon blends, or a construction we haven’t run before — the answer is the same as everywhere else on this site: send a sample, we counter-sample it, and tell you honestly whether we can make it.

No minimum on warehouse pickup. 10-roll minimum on delivered orders, no truckload requirement.

- Starting at $2.50 to $2.96 per pound, picked up at our Houston plant, depending on the rayon/polyester blend and weight - the 90/10 rayon/poly Safe-Shield construction runs about $2.50/lb, 75/25 about $2.70/lb, 80/20 about $2.78/lb, and the lighter 70/30 blend about $2.96/lb. These are starting prices sized for smaller orders; larger and repeat accounts typically pay less.

- These are starting prices sized for smaller orders, built as a ceiling rather than an average - most of our established, higher-volume accounts already pay less than what is shown on this page. Order volume, frequency, and delivery terms all move the number down. Tell us your expected volume and we will quote accordingly.
- Is delivery included in these prices?
- No. These are pickup (FOB Houston) prices at our plant. Delivery adds a per-load freight cost on top, quoted separately once we know the destination.
- How much does geotextile fabric cost?
- Starting around $2.29 per pound picked up in Houston across our 4, 6 and 8 ounce per square yard weights - roughly $0.57 to $1.15 per square yard depending on weight. This is a preliminary estimate while we build out pricing history on this product line; contact us for a firm number.
- Does NW Fabrics offer volume discounts?
- Yes. The prices published here are sized for smaller orders. Volume, order frequency, and payment terms all factor into the final price, and larger or repeat orders are priced lower than what is shown on this page.
